Here is a pimped porridge recipe to change up that morning bowl of oats.
Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 100 g whole rolled oats (we like mornflake oats)
- 240 ml Almond milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 2 fresh figs
- 4 Tablespoons dried cranberries
- 4 Tablespoons pistachios
- 2 Tablespoons honey
Method

Add the milk to the oats and cook how you prefer to cook your porridge, either on the hob or in the microwave. When cooked add to your bowls. Stir in the vanilla extract and the honey. Cut the figs into wedges and place as a topping along with a sprinkle of the pistachios and cranberries. Pinch the cinnamon on top.
