This banana bread is very moreish,  moist and soft textured packed with chunks of protein bar. Its full of protein, low in sugar and gluten free. Only 100 calories a slice and 9g Protein to boot.

80 grams oat flour (blended rolled oats)
1 scoop chocolate Protein Powder ( we use gold standard whey)
2  eggs
2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
Teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of sea salt ( Maldon is best)
1 large ripe banana
⅓ teaspoon bicarb
3 Tablespoons cacao powder
1 Protein Bar Chopped into chunks (we use grenade carb killa double chocolate brownie)

Preheat your oven to 180c and line a loaf tin with baking paper.
Mash the bananas with the back of a fork
Add the wet ingredients eg the eggs to the mixture one by one and mix until fully incorporated along with the maple syrup.
Now fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix to form a smooth batter.
Stir well and then stir through the protein bar chunks, next transfer your cake mixture into the loaf tin, spread evenly in the tin then bake in the oven for around 30 minutes.
Once your loaf is ready, allow to cool completely then slice and serve with your favourite toppings! we chose greek yoghurt, blueberries and maple syrup.
